We have exciting news!  We are beginning a new Young Adult Group (ages 19-35).  It will be a great opportunity to meet other Catholic young adults.  There will be a variety of activities available (socials, service, faith sharing, discussion topics, etc.).  Come join us!  For more information contact Sister Deb at 225-7065.

 
 

COMING UP FOR CATHOLIC YOUNG ADULTS (ages 18-35) ... Movie Night at the Carmike Theatre at the Lakewood Mall on Friday, December 3rd. Movie and time TBA. We will meet at Shenanigans afterwards to review the movie and socialize!

 
 
 

YOUTH MINISTRY: Please pray for the high school youth who will be traveling to St. Louis this week for the National Catholic Youth Conference. They will join 20,000 high school youth from around the country to learn more about and celebrate their Catholic faith.

 
 
 

 

WHO BELONGS TO THE YOUTH GROUP? If you're a teenager and you belong to St. Mary's or Sacred Heart, then you're in! Friends are always welcome to come with you.  Youth Group is a time to get together with other people your age in order to get to know each other, discuss stuff going on in your life and in the life of the church. It's a time to laugh and have fun together!

A PILGRIMAGE TO ROME, ITALY

This is the Youth Celebration of the New Millennium. August 10-21, 2000.  Registrations and a payment schedule begin June 1, 1999.  Total cost for youth is $2,600 and $2,850 for adults.

SPONSORS NEEDED TO HELP SEND YOUNG
PEOPLE TO CONFERENCE.
We would like to make the National Catholic Youth
Conference (NCYC) available to all youth who would like to
attend.  It is a very worthwhile experience where young people
gather with Catholics from all over the country to learn more
about themselves and their relationship to Jesus Christ and
the Church.  They come to celebrate their faith, share beliefs
and recognize the gifts they have to share with the Church in
their role as disciples. The conference is a great tool for
helping to build up faith leaders among our youth.
